Play with your keyboard

The home row is your keyboard: a, w, s, e, d, f, t, g, y, h, u, j, k, o, l and p. White keys and black keys sit where your fingers naturally fall.

Move up and down

Press z to drop an octave and x to lift one. You can also use the octave buttons above the keys.

Sound starts on the first press

Browsers keep audio off until you touch something, so the first key you press wakes the instrument up. Use speakers or headphones for the best sound.

Put it to work in a lesson

Try intervals, scales and chords here, then bring what you found to a one-to-one lesson. Lessons are online or face to face in West London.
